Synod Youth Forum – 19-21 March 2010
Here’s what we got up to in 2009.
What you should know:
Venue & Timing:
Youth Forum takes place at the same time as Synod 19-21 March 2010 at the Scottish Police College, Tulliallan. We start with an evening meal on Friday and end with lunch on Saunday.
Ages:
Youth Forum is open to people aged 12-16 years old. That’s S1 – S4 in school years.
Cost:
Youth Forum is FREE to all participants and travel expenses can also be claimed in the same way that Synod expenses are claimed. Most people coming to Youth Forum travel with the adults from their church who are attending Synod, but some travel as a larger group.
Information & Booking:
Every Church Secretary and Minister are sent information about Youth Forum.

Responsible Adult:
Up until now we have asked that each group is accompanied by an adult who will be responsible for their young people at Youth Forum. Initially we asked that this person would be able to help with leading Youth Forum.
This year the responsible adult will only be responsible for their young people while travelling to and from the event and after the programme has finished at night. This person should still be disclosed but can now be someone who attends Synod.
